Mood Disorders
Mood swings or mood disorders are common among teenagers. Mood swings happen due to hormonal changes and other factors. However, if the mood swings are persistent, no doubt it will affect your lifestyle. Some of the signs of mood swings are hopelessness, anxiety, excessive guilt, low self-esteem, low energy and much more. With proper treatment and self-care, these signs will get reduced gradually. Some of the forms of mood disorders are dysthymia, depression, Bipolar disorder, and substance-induced mood disorder.
Dementia
Many people take it as a single disorder; however the term dementia refers to a wide range of mental conditions. An individual diagnosed with dementia has reduced cognitive abilities which can affect the patient’s life in a negative way. According to a survey, most dementia cases suffer from Alzheimer’s disease. People suffering from long term Alzheimer’s disease have lower memory power and thinking skills and becomes a barrier in the way of carrying out simple work.
